Devils Claw - Scientific name (Harpagophytum procumbens)

Parts used: Root

Main Actions:

Anti-inflammatory

Antirheumatic – prevents and relieves inflammation and pain in the joints, muscles and connective tissue caused by rheumatism

Analgesic – relieves pain

Bitter tonic – stimulates salivary glands to improve digestion.

Warnings

Do not use if you have a peptic (stomach) ulcer.
